January 22, 2013 Board Meeting Agenda Item #24 Title APPROVAL TO AWARD BID #13-0001 FOR AUDIO VISUAL AND VIDEO EQUIPMENT Description Bids to provide 'Audio Visual and Video Equipment' were received from 19 vendors on December 4, 2012.  The bids of AFP Industries, Inc., Audio Visual Innovations, Inc., B&H Photo Video, Camcor, Inc., Focused Technology, Visionworx, LLC, dba CCS Presentation, CDW Government, LLC, Lakeshore Learning Materials, LexJet Corporation, Logical Choice Technologies, Inc., Pro Sound, Inc., Pyramid School Products, School Specialty, Inc., Schoolhouse Products, Inc., Smiley's Audio-Visual, Inc., and Troxell Communications, Inc., were the best low bids meeting the advertised specifications.  Reasons for not selecting the apparent low bid are included with the bid tabulation.  This bid is for a period of one year with the option to renew for two additional one-year periods.  The funds for these purchases are contained in the operating and capital budgets of the schools and departments.
